Mollie and Jack Zicklin Residence in Riverdale

The importance of tradition
During troubled times, tradition often provides comfort. Our patients, are encouraged to invite their own spiritual guide to join their care team. Through deep understanding of clinical, spiritual and cultural end-of-life issues, clergy can provide guidance and facilitate discussions that honor the wishes of patients and families. Tradition binds us, gives us a sense of place and belonging, and helps us cope.

The Mollie and Jack Zicklin Residence was the first New York State-certified residential hospice under Jewish auspices in the Greater New York area. Funded, in part, through generous support from UJA Federation of N Y, the Zicklin residence offers our Jewish patients the opportunity to celebrate holidays and traditions. Dietary laws are observed.

Although our residence is rooted in Jewish values, we welcome people of all faiths and offer special cultural sensitivity through our Jewish and Asian programs.

Part of our tradition… to offer the best in medical care
Here, our patients receive expert medical care, pain management, as well  as emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to meet their needs and wishes. Those who desire to live in a setting exclusively dedicated to hospice care will find our Zicklin Residence in Riverdale to be the right choice. With 18 beds, the Zicklin Residence offers a private, home-like setting.
