What is Hospice?

Hospice is a specialized program of care and services for you or someone you love, who is living with a life-limiting advanced illness.

The decision to seek Hospice care is an important one. Hospice focuses on “caring” not curing with the fundamental principle that each of us has the right to die pain free and with dignity.

Hospice is a concept of care that provides a team of professionals and volunteers who are experts in the field of end of life care.

Jacob Perlow Hospice and Metropolitan Jewish Hospice have been providing hospice care for more than 30 years and are two of the most experienced hospice programs in the Greater Metropolitan New York & Long Island area.
